Resource-Aware Clinical Decision Support
Unlike standard CDS that evaluates clinical criteria alone, the ARKA-RURAL engine generates a dual-score system: the traditional Clinical Appropriateness Score (CAS) plus a new Resource-Adjusted Appropriateness Score (RAAS) that factors in local equipment availability, patient travel burden, and facility capabilities. Each evaluation produces a Smart Triage Pathway — a tiered recommendation (Local-First, Mobile-Unit, or Transfer) with full protocol details.
